Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There were two epi-pens that were not in the original container so the epi pens lacked vital information including the name of the children's full name who the epi pen belongs to and one was expired.”
“Two staff were missing all the required health topics within their previous training year.”
“A child who has known allergic reactions to different foods does not have a food allergy plan on file for review.”
“Based on the evidence obtained during the investigation, parents were not notified of less serious injuries that occurred by pick up time as required by the minimum standards.”
“Based on the evidence obtained during the investigation, children have been disciplined by yelling by staff.”
“A child in care who had a listed diagnosed food allergy did not have a complete food allergy in file when reviewed as it was missing the parent signature.”
