Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The signed medication authorization expired in 2023 and there was not an updated medication authorization on file for a child still receiving administered medication.”
“The first aid kit contained expired first aid supplies. This was corrected at inspection when the director removed and disposed of the expired medication.”
“The first aid kit was missing tape and a guide to first aid.”
“There was not written documentation that emergency drills, smoke/CO2 detector tests, and fire extinguisher checks were being completed.”
“The operational policies were missing the following: Promotion of indoor and outdoor activities; and Information regarding parents' rights to review the most recent Licensing inspection report and Minimum Standards access.”
“Out of three children's records reviewed, one record was missing complete immunizations.”
