Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“It was determined that a child was left unsupervised in the hallway during a class transition. The child was found in the hallway by a parent.”
“Due to a failure in following transition procedures, the caregiver was unaware of the total number of children in their responsibility. The two caregivers did not communicate the count between them during the transition.”
“A copy of the most recent health inspection was not available for review at the time of inpection.”
“A caregiver left a child unsupervised in a classroom for approximately 2 minutes when the caregiver transitioned the class to the playground. The child was found by another caregiver.”
“A caregiver failed to account for all the children in their group resulting in a child being left unsupervised in the classroom. The caregiver was not aware that the child had been left behind as the caregiver did not follow the operation's procedures for transitions.”
“One caregiver completed CPR training through an online course.”
“One child did not have complete admission information on file.”
“Training records for the director was not available for review at the time of inspection.”
“It was determined that two caregivers left a child unsupervised in a classroom for approximately 4 minutes when transitioning the class to the playground.”
“One staff file was missing education qualifications.”
“Four children in the infant room did not have updated feeding instructions.”
“In the combined Pre-K and school age room they were observed watching a movie during rest time.”
