Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection a person was present and caring for children with an inactive background check status. This was corrected when the caregiver left the facility during the inspection and a new background check was initiated.”
“A child in care left their class on the playground in order to use a restroom with caregivers being unaware that the child was missing.”
“The operation did not report that a child broke their arm in care.”
“This standard was evaluated as part of an investigation and determined to be deficient. Based on information obtained, it was determined that a two-year-old child was left unattended in a classroom for more than two minutes.”
“The last gas leak inspection at the operation was 4/5/2022.”
“A caregiver that has a pending background check had access to children in the toddler classroom. The deficiency was corrected when the caregiver immediately left the classroom and walked to the front office.”
