Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One child did not have all required medications based on their allergy plan, one child did not have the doctors signature on their allergy plan, one child did not have the parents signature on the plan, and one child did not have an allergy action plan at all despite having medications and known allergens.”
“Two children's medications were not properly labeled.”
“Two medications were not in their original containers, and the emergency food allergy plan lacked a physician's signature.”
“It was found that a child was left outside unsupervised for 15 minutes and was not discovered until a staff member came to the cafeteria door for the child to gain reentry.”
“It was found during the inspection the operation did not have the child's information posted for a child with a diagnosed food allergy.”
