Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Cleaning supplies and other hazardous substances were observed accessible to children during the inspection. This was corrected at inspection when the shelf containing the supplies was turned to face the wall, making the chemicals inaccessible to the children using the space.”
“The operation did not have documentation of a CPR card that showed the caregiver completed the class in person.”
“A caregiver was present at the operation without an eligible background check.”
“The operation only served a grain based item for snack today. They did not serve an additional item from another food category as required. They do not appear to be following their posted snack menu.”
“The operation's posted snack menu does not meet the snack patterns established by the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.”
“The operation's posted snack menu does not meet the snack patterns established by the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.”
“They didn't have a written procedure detailing how they provide care for a child under the age of five.”
“They did not have the Keeping Kids Safe poster or the Parent Notification poster on their parent board.”
“The operation didn't have a copy of their emergency preparedness plan available for review.”
