Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver did not use good judgement when they picked a child up by one arm resulting in the child's elbow becoming dislocated.”
“It was observed during the inspection that an infant was swaddled while sleeping in a crib. This was corrected by unswaddling the infant.”
“A section of the unitary surfacing on the playground is separating and sinking therefore posing a tripping hazard. This was corrected by placing a barrier so that children do not have access to this area.”
“It was observed during the walk through of the operation a caregiver did not wash hands after assisting a child with toileting.”
“It was found during the inspection that a caregiver did not complete the skill based portion of their CPR training and has been employed longer than 90 days.”
“1 out of 10 records reviewed was missing the Emergency Contact person's address.”
“During the inspection it was found that none of the infants feeding schedules were signed and dated by the parents.”
