Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“3 out of 10 children's files reviewed did not have an address listed for a responsible individual as an emergency contact at the time of the inspection.”
“2 out of the 10 caregivers files did not have 24 hours of annual training to review at the time of inspection.”
“Three classrooms were still combined after naptime and the specific age was 2 years old. There were 25 children with two caregivers. The maximum group size is 22 children.”
“A child was observed not washing her hands after a diaper change.”
“Three out of the five cribs in the classroom did not have a sheet that fit snugly. This was corrected at the time of the inspection. A sheet that fit snugly was place on the cribs.”
“five staff files was reviewed and there were no current pediatric first aid or CPR training to review at the time of the inspection.”
“A caregiver was observed feeding two babies under 6 months at once. One laying across her lap and the other on the floor.”
“The infant room was observed to have 11 kids with 2 caregivers. The max Group size for this room is 10 kids. This was corrected when a child was moved up to infant B.”
“Infant feeding schedule was last updated on 4/18/23.”
“The operational policies did not include the benefits of the physical activity or outdoor play in their handbook or a plan to ensure physical activities occurs on days when extreme weather conditions prohibit or limit outdoor play.”
