Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“No fire drill had been conducted at the provider's home at the time of inspection.”
“The fire extinguisher in the home was not properly mounted and ready for immediate use.”
“The provider's child that is in care all day did not have any admissions information or immunization records on file for review.”
“The provider did not have certificates and/or documentation present to indicate that the required 30 hours of annual training hours were completed during the year.”
“The provider advised that a safety drill was conducted in March, but there is no documentation of the drill.”
“The one daycare child enrolled into care did not have a copy of his vaccination record on file for review.”
“During the inspection, a copy of the child-care home's operational policies was not available for review.”
