Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There is not a smoke detector installed in the main play room that the children play in.”
“Two children's files were missing the release contact's phone numbers.”
“The household member does not have a file or any documentation.”
“It is required for parents to sign a statement saying they are responsible for the nutritional value of the food they are providing.”
“One child's file was missing the health care statement.”
“A statement of health from the local vet was not on file.”
“The emergency telephone numbers should be posted on the parent board.”
“One child's file was missing the emergency contact's address.”
“Three children's files were missing the special needs statement.”
