Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A trampoline was observed to not be less than four feet in diameter was observed to be damaged. Corrected at Inspection - the trampoline was observed to be taken apart and thrown away during at the time of the inspection.”
“Two children were observed to not be strapped in the highchair. Corrected at Inspection: the assistant caregiver was observed to be using the safety straps on the highchair for each child observed in a highchair.”
“Mats were observed to not be labeled with the children's names. Corrected at Inspection: the primary caregiver labeled each mat with numbers for nap chart at the time of the inspection.”
“Children's files reviewed and are missing following requirements: 3 out of 4 children missing health statement 3 out of 4 children missing emergency contact's address. 1 out of 4 children missing physician's name, address and phone number.”
