Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“It was determined a caregiver used inappropriate discipline with a child in care when the caregiver grabbed the child by the ankles and pulled the child towards her for time out.”
“The playground maintenance checklist for the past 3 months was not available for review. This was corrected at inspection when the director conducted a walk through of the playground and filled out a playground maintenance checklist for the month of May.”
