Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation's last gas leak inspection was conducted in January 2024.”
“A child was placed in the exit pathway during naptime. The deficiency was corrected during the inspection when the caregiver moved the sleeping child to a safe area in the classroom.”
“Two of the ten staff files reviewed were missing proof of orientation.”
“When a child fell outside and was crying for an extended period of time, the caregiver did not share that information with the caregiver who took over care of the child at carpool time.”
“When a child fell from a piece of equipment outside and was crying for an extended period of time, the operation did not notify the parent at pick up time of a potential injury.”
“One of the ten children records reviewed was missing immunization records.”
“Three of the ten children records reviewed were missing health statements.”
“The written operational policies did not list procedures for promoting special accomodation for children with special needs.”
