Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation was re-cited at the follow-up inspection due to having a firearm that was not being kept in a locked safe.”
“During the inspection it was discovered that the operation had a firearm that was not being kept in a locked safe. It was being kept inaccessible to the children in care, but was not locked up.”
“During the inspection it was found that the operation had not been conducting their emergency safety drills. This was corrected at inspection when a fire drill was conducted and met compliance.”
“No emergency evacuation and relocation diagram was made available.”
“The outdoor area has a canopy that is broken in the middle causing the metal rod to be broken and sunken in potentially allowing the canopy to collapse inwardly. The outside area additionally has an open grill with propane tank easily accessible for children.”
“No emergency preparedness plan was created.”
“The outside A/C unit does not have a safegaurd or barrier around it.”
“The operational policies did not include the procedures for indoor and outdoor physical activity.”
“No activity plan was developed and available for review.”
