Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“It was determined a caregiver used inappropriate discipline with children by yelling at them, using harsh tones, and inappropriate responses.”
“It was determined that the director attempted to interfere with the investigation by asking staff what was discussed during their confidential interviews with the CCR inspector.”
“It was determined a child was injured because metal water bottles were not placed out of harm's way, causing one to fall and hit a child in the head while they were resting.”
“It was determined a caregiver was using inappropriate discipline with children.”
“There were 9 staff files reviewed that were missing the required training topics.”
