Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver who was in ratio with children had expired CPR training since April 2026.”
“A person without a submitted background check was observed to be present in the toddler room while children were in care. This was corrected when the person was asked to leave the operation. Another caregiver with eligible and no conditions status took over the class.”
“One classroom was over ratio by one child. This was corrected at time of inspection when the class was divided into two classes and another eligible staff member took over the new class.”
“A 4 month infant in care was observed asleep in a bouncer with a blanket. This was corrected by removing the infant from the bouncer and placing in a play yard.”
“This standard was evaluated with reference to a report and was determined to be deficient. A child with a diagnosed food allergy did not have a food allergy emergency plan when they were in care.”
“This standard was evaluated with reference to a report and was determined to be deficient. Caregivers did not utilize as recommended adaptive equipment that was provided to the center for a child's use.”
“A person with a pending background check was observed to be present in the toddler room while children were napping. This was corrected when the person was asked to leave the operation. Another caregiver with eligible and no conditions status took over the class.”
