Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The fence gate lacked a proper latching mechanism.”
“There was an accordant gate being used in one of the areas that children are cared for. This was corrected at the inspection when the provider removed the gate.”
“Two areas designated for the care of children did not have a smoke detectors. One smoke detector was installed during the inspection.”
“The air conditioner was accessible. There was no safeguard.”
“There were no operational policies to review.”
