Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Based on the gatherings during the investigation, it was determined the operation failed to notify the licensing immediately but no later than two days after a child was hurt and required medical treatment by a health care professional.”
“Based on the information gathered during the investigation, it has been determined that children were left unattended, and caregiver was not at a physical proximity which did not allow visual and/or auditory awareness of the children in care. Caregiver left the classroom where children were in care and children were walking in and out of the classroom.”
“The nap cots were not labeled during the visit.”
“The operational policies were missing several items to inlcude the promotion of indoor and outdoor activities.”
“The emergency prepardness plan did not have a name and address of an alternate location away from the operation.”
“The staff files were not available for review during the visit.”
