Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Three of the six children files reviewed did not have a current health statement from a physician on file.”
“There was no fire drill documentation available for review during the inspection. A fire dirll was completed during the inspection.”
“The provider was lacking the required 30 hours of annual training required.”
“There were no menus available for review during the inspection.”
“The provider did not currently have a carbon monoxide detector in the home.”
“There were no operational policies or emergency preparedness plan available for review.”
