Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A cat in the home did not have vaccination records on file.”
“The primary caregiver lacked annual training in all required topics.”
“The operation was lacking all required postings to include required emergency numbers and keeping children safe.”
“The back porch in the outdoor play area is higher than 20 inches and lacks a barrier.”
“The operational policies reviewed was lacking an infant safe sleep policy.”
“The outdoor area has an unwound water hose inthe play area. Portions of the ground in the outdoor play area have deep holes causing tripping hazards to chidlren in care. The Bushes from next door have overgrown into the outdoorplay area.”
