Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“At the time of inspection, the gauge on the fire extinguisher registered at "recharge" and was in need of servicing.”
“At the time of inspection, the fire extinguisher was located in a cabinet behind cleaning products. The fire extinguisher was not mounted or easily accesible.”
“At the time of inspection a water hose in the yard was not stored out of reach. This was corrected at inspection by the provider storing the water hose as required so that it is inaccessible.”
