Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Cleaning supplies accessible to children were located in a pre-primary classroom and in the bathroom of a primary classroom. .”
“Lysol sprary was located accessible to children in the Pre-Primary 1 Class Room. The spray was relocated to a safe storage location when this was pointed out.”
“The operation did not log the daily breathing treatments of a child in care.”
“During the investigation, it was uncovered that the operation was not consistently ensuring access to drinking water for the children during active play.”
“A child was found in clothing soiled by human waste at the time of pick up by their parent.”
“Caregivers were putting diapers or pull ups on children rather than work with those children to potty train them.”
“A caregiver pulled a child in care by the arm while attempting to discipline the child.”
“A caregiver struck a child in care on the back of the head.”
“During the inspection, outlet covers were not in place in outlets in the Toddler 1, Pre-Primary 1 and Pre-Primary 2 classrooms. The operation replaced all outlet covers when this was brought to their attention.”
