Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operations Franchise Tax is delinquent.”
“The operation had a newly hired employee present working on administrative task for the operation during the inspection. This was corrected when the employees background check was run and the owner let the employee know they can return once their background check is clear.”
“Infants cups were observed without the first name and last initial for each child. This was corrected when staff labeled the cups/lids.”
“The operation has child safety alarms installed on both vans but they are not able to switch them to activate status due to not being able to locate the key to the alarm box. The operation created a checklist plan to ensure staff is checking the vans daily at the end of transportation duty to be sure no child is left behind.”
“During the walk through there was one caregiver who provided the wrong amount of children they were responsible for and two caregivers who provided the wrong ages of children they were responsible for,”
“Based on the information obtained during the investigation, it was determined that the operation has combined infants with children older than 18 months old during opening for more than 45 minutes. This has been corrected by additional staff being present and scheduled to arrive earlier.”
“The directors administer medication at the operation but do not have medication training.”
