Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the walkthrough, I observed that 2 infants were with a caregiver. The caregiver was feeding an infant on the floor in an infant seat, buckled up on the tummy rather than the shoulders. Another infant was in a highchair and was not buckled up.”
“During the inspection, I reviewed 10 children's files. The operation couldn't find the health statement.”
“During the walkthrough, I observed that several classrooms have desk fans accessible to children. In addition, a toddler classroom has an electrical outlet that needs to be covered. Several classrooms have exposed wires accessible to children. In outdoor areas, there is a tree with sharp aggregate, which could be a hazard for children. There is a crack in the ground that could be a hazard for children.”
“Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found noncompliant with the Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The operation did not maintain the ratio for 12-17 months children.”
