Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver used prohibited punishment when discipling a child in care.”
“Documentation of the Fire inspection was not available for review.”
“The gas leak inspection has not been conducted but is scheduled for first thin Wednesday morning, 8-7-24.”
“The loose filll under the active play structure is under the required 6 inches.”
“The operation did not have the fire inspection conducted, as required, annually. They had requested it to be done, but failed to follow up to ensure it was completed.”
“There is substantial evidence that drills have not been conducted on a monthly basis.”
“A staff member was diagnosed with a communicable disease and a report to child care regulation was not made within 48 hours of the daycare being notified. This was corrected at inspection with a report being completed.”
