Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation was missing documentation of safety drills.”
“One child's enrollment form did not have release information.”
“There were hazards in the backyard active play space such as a ladder, plungers, and folded chairs.”
“Caregivers did not have documented SIDS, Shaken Baby, and/or Early Brain Development annual training.”
“One child's enrollment form was missing emergency contact information.”
“The posted CPSC recall posting was out of date.”
“One outlet did not have a plug cover.”
“At the time of the inspection 1 child in care did not have a vaccine required for their age.”
“At the time of the inspection a play kitchen set was observed not anchored to the wall. During the visit a child in care was able to pull the play kitchen set over, falling on top of a child.”
“At the time of inspection a play structure had a stair ladder to a platform with a slide with no handrails along the stair ladder.”
“At the time of the inspection an infant was observed in a bouncer seat or high chair for more than 15 minutes throughout the visit.”
