Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A 5 month old infant was observed asleep in their crib with a blanket and two small toys present in the crib. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver removed the blankets and toys.”
“There were 2 infants that did not have current infant feeding instructions on file. One's infant feeding form was last updated in 8/2024 and the other infant's form was last updated on 9/16/24.”
“The Provider did not have current CPR/First Aid Certification. The Provider's CPR/First Aid expired on 8/25/2024.”
“The operational policy was observed to not have the following, required sections, included: *Promotion of Active Play *Infant Safe Sleep *Parent Rights”
“The Provider had completed 3 out of 30 required hours of annual training.”
“There were 2 children in care that did not have immunization records on file for review.”
“One riding toy was observed to be in disrepair exposing springs, posing a pinching hazard. The homeowner will remove the equipment before children are allowed access to the area.”
