Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One caregiver did not have the required proof of education.”
“Three caregivers hired after 9/2023 do not have the required pre-employment affidavit.”
“One of six children did not have the required physician health statement.”
“In two different classrooms there were cans of lysol that were within reach of children. I one of the rooms there was a bottle of spray hand sanitizer within reach of children. This was all corrected at the time of the inspection by the caregivers putting the materials in an area that were not accessible to children.”
“Upon entering the 2mo-12mo old room there was a caregiver on her cell phone while supervising 3 children. This was corrected at the time of the inspection by the caregiver putting her phone away.”
“There were two pieces of play equipment that did not have the required loose fill. The Director is going to correct this by upping supervision and getting the required amount of loose fill installed.”
“There was a classroom that had children under the age of two that were watching a movie. The caregiver corrected this at the time of the inspection by turning the TV off.”
“Two out of five children's records reviewed were missing health statements. The Director is going to correct this by getting the health statements.”
