Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection it was found that the operation had not conducted a fire drill since April 2024. One was conducted while I was present at the inspection to meet compliance.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was found that there was no antiseptic solution available for use in the first aid kit.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was observed that there was a menu change at lunch that was not noted on the posted menu. This was corrected at inspection.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was observed that a caregiver wiped a child's nose while playing on the playground and did not wash their hands or use sanitizer afterwards. This was corrected at inspection when caregiver used hand sanitizer upon request.”
