Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The policy was missing the recommended clothing and footwear for outdoor time.”
“A child was punished in relation to toilet training while in care.”
“Two out of eight children's records were missing the special needs statement.”
“One out of seven children's records were missing the immunization record.”
“Two out of seven children's records were missing the address of the responsible individual to call in case of an emergency.”
“Two out of six children's records were missing the address of the responsible individual to call in case of an emergency. This was CORRECTED when the provider got in touch with the parents for the information.”
“One out of six children's records were missing the immunization record.”
“There was no statement of health available for review on one of the dogs that lives in the home.”
“Four out of six children's records was missing the special needs statement. This was CORRECTED when the provider contacted the parents.”
