Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The primary caregiver was missing 13 hours of required annual training.”
“The consumer safety recall notice had not been updated since 2021. This was corrected during inspection and updated notice was posted.”
“Safety concerns with a ladder and sharp wooden moldings in the outdoor area accessible to children. This was corrected when the ladder and moldings were removed during inspection .”
“Operation had 3 cots used by children for napping that were not labeled. This was corrected at inspection when permit holder labeled the cots with the children's names.”
“Permit holder did not have documentation available for review showing proof of training in handling, storing and disposing of hazardous material.”
“One child's records was not available for review.”
“Operation did not have fire extinguisher mounted.”
“Operation does not have a letter or form from the most recent CCR inspection post.”
“The operation did not have a currently completed daily building and grounds checklist to show daily indoor and outdoor active play space and equipment checks are being conducted. This was corrected at inspection after a Daily Building and Grounds Checklist, Form 1100 was given to director/primary caregiver for completion.”
“The people list for employees associated with the operation has not currently been validated. The people list was last validated in June of 2021. This was corrected at inspection after the people list was reviewed with primary caregiver/director and validated in CLASS database.”
“The operation did not have a posting with the list of emergency telephone numbers. This was corrected at inspection after an emergency telephone number form 7243 was given to primary caregiver to complete and post right by the entrance of the operation.”
