Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“In review of staff records, 6 staff did not have proof of training in administering medication, and food allergies available for review. Four staff did not have proof of training in disposing of hazardous materials available for review. Two staff did not have proof of training in emergency preparedness available for review.”
“The water temperature at one of the boys restrooms was too hot during inspection, however this was corrected during my visit when the water temperature was adjusted to a comfortable temperature.”
“Two children were seen sitting inside a bucket swing being pushed by a caregiver. The children were sitting back to back inside the bucket swing with no straps to protect them from falling forward. Manufacturers instructions were not available for verification of proper use.”
