Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection, evidence was obtained that a child was left unattended in the classroom for at least 40 minutes.”
“During the inspection it was determined from interviews with the children and staff that 3 children were left outside unsupervised.”
“The operation did not have a current fire inspection to review during the inspection.”
“1 out of 10 staff files reviewed did not have a current CPR and first aid certificate.”
“When the children were on the playground, they used the restroom in the Willow classroom. A caregiver stood at the door that leads to the playground while children went inside to use the restroom, and the remainder of the children were outside playing. The caregiver was not able to assist a child using the restroom. The assistant director assisted the children.”
“The last time the background check was validated was on 11/01/2022.”
“Based on the preponderance of evidence, the caregivers in care of a group of children did not know the number of children in their care when they transitioned from the classroom to the playground.”
“Based on the preponderance of evidence, the caregivers left a child unattended in a classroom without supervision.”
