Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Tweezers were missing from the first aid kit durign the inspection.”
“The primary caregivers current transportation training certificate was unavailable for review during the inspection.”
“There are pieces of the outdoor fence that are broken and pose a risk to children due to the sharp edges and nails in the fence.”
“One child's immunization record was missing from their file.”
“A 13 month old non-walking infant was sleeping on the end of a sofa during the inspection. This was corrected at inspection when the primary caregiver moved the infant to a designated play yard.”
“The primary caregiver was missing 13 annual training hours for the 2022-2023 calendar year being evaluated.”
“A written activity plan was not available.”
“One of the rooms (den) used by children lacked a smoke detector.”
