Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation did not have the fire drills, lockdown drills, or shelter drills done for the following months: January, February, and March.”
“The provider did not have a current cpr/first aid certification.”
“The emergency evacuation diagram was not available for review. All required information was discussed with the provider.”
“There were no menus accesible upon inspection.”
“The first aid certification was expired upon inspection.”
“Upon inspection there were no menu's avalaible for nutrition.”
“There was not a crib accessible for one infant in care.”
“The daycare is currently using a white rope to extend a small section of the hurricane fence line to the back daycare wall. Tall grass was observed growing through the open sections from the adjacent yard. The gate that leads out towards the front of the home does not latch properly. Animal feces was also observed throughout the outdoor playground. Incomplete play equipment that is no longer being used was accessible to children in care.”
