Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Operation has a smoke detector that was not working when tested. This was corrected at inspection when primary caregiver changed the battery to the smoke detector. It then worked when tested.”
“In review of records, one child's file does not contain a medical statement.”
“Operation has a battery operated carbon monoxide detector that was not in working order.”
“Operation did not have a completed form 2885, consumer product safety commission for available for review. This was corrected at inspection when primary caregiver checked the cpsc website and completed form 2885 provided by inspector from the TA library.”
“Permit holder does not have proof of current training in Pediactric Frist Aid or Pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.”
“Operation has a dog whose vaccinations has expired. The vaccination record at the operation shows the last completed vaccinations for the dog was November 2019.”
“The palm tree in the outdoor play area has sharp edges that can injure a child when playing outside.”
