Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection it was found that the child caregiver ratio was not in compliance. There was 1 infant child, 8 children ages 18 months to 3y, and 2 chidren that were 4y old with one caregiver. This was corrected at inspection when a secondary caregiver arrived and brought the child/caregiver ratio into compliance.”
“During the investigation, it was found that a 10-month-old infant was injured by another child in care while the caregiver was in another room cooking breakfast.”
“There was not a working smoke detector in the living room area that the children use.”
