Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One infant was sitting in a high chair without the safety straps fastened. This was corrected when the infant was removed from the high chair.”
“The operation does not have a current sanitation inspection. The operation has requested and paid for an inspection.”
“The medication storage box contained five medications that were not in their original containers.”
“A food allergy emergency plan indicated the need for benadryl to be administered before the use of an epipen, but the benadryl was not present at the operation.”
“A caregiver was missing the required medication administration training and could not provide proof of completion at the time of inspection.”
“3 out of 10 children's files did not have a health statement.”
“Two caregiver did not have an affidavit on file.”
“7 caregivers did not have in person CPR training.”
“Operation did not have current sanitation inspection form.”
“A caregiver, with direct access to children, was present without a background check eligibility. The caregiver was sent home during the inspection.”
“Two children did not have emergency contact information available.”
“A caregiver was present at the operation without receiving eligibility. The caregiver was sent home during the inspection.”
