Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation is missing a keeping childrens safe poster.”
“One out of three student files are missing emergency medical authorization.”
“The primary caregiver had three out of thirty hours of annual training accesible during inspection.”
“The assistant caregivers annual trainings were not accesible during inspection.”
“There was a chemical spray left in the cabinet in the children's bathroom in children's reach. This was corrected at inspection when a household member removed the chemicals.”
“A household member who does not have substitute caregiver qualifications was left in charge of the home while the primary caregiver was away from the home.”
“The childcare home does not have any menus showing daily meals ans snacks.”
