Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The emergency preparedness plan was found to be missing required information of how staff will evacuate essential documentation and how caregiver will continue to care for the children until each child has been released.”
“The operation's fire extinguisher had not been service since May 2023.”
“A child enrolled in care did not have a file to be reviewed at the time of inspection.”
“The provider was missing training over emergency preparedness, preventing and controlling communicable diseases, administering medications, preventing and responding to emergencies, understanding building and physical safety, and handling and storing hazardous materials.”
“One out of four children records evaluated did not have the child's admission date. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection.”
“Caregiver removed the carbon monoxide detector and did not re-install it.”
