Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“An incident report was not available for review regarding an incident that placed a child at risk.”
“One employee was observed working with children in care and did not have an active background check with the operation. The employee was removed from caring for children.”
“In two classrooms, the under-the-sink cabinet had broken child locks which contained cleaning supplies accessible to children. This was corrected when the cleaning supplies were removed from the cabinet and placed in an inaccessible area.”
“Based on investigation findings, proper supervison was not maintained when a child was left alone and for approx 5 to 8 minutes in the classroom.”
“A child was left alone in a room for approximately 2 hours.”
“Based on information obtained from the operation, there is sufficient evidence to support the allegation of a child being left outdoors on the playground.”
