Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One caregiver was present caring for children in a classroom without an active background check. The caregiver left during the inspection.”
“Parents were not notified immediately that an incident took place at the operation that put a child at risk of harm.”
“This investigation found that a caregiver did not use good judgement when incorrectly handling a child.”
“A child was left outside for 2-3 minutes.”
“Parents were not notified immediately that an incident took place at the operation that put a child at risk of harm. The time between the incident and the notification to the parent was 3 hours.”
“Ten staff training files were reviewed. Files were missing certificates for health and safety related topics.”
“During a fire drill, a child was left behind in the classroom.”
“During a fire drill, a child left the line and remained in the classroom alone.”
