Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There was a piece of equipment on one of the playgrounds that was cracked, resulting in a gap in the plastic that could pinch a child's fingers.”
“There was a slide and a piece of climbing equipment next to each other without an adequate use zone in between.”
“The operation's last annual fire inspection was completed on 5/27/25.”
“The pea gravel under the slides had been displaced and was no longer six inches deep.”
“A caregiver did not wash a child's hands after diapering the child. This was corrected during the inspection when the caregiver was reminded about handwashing for children and they washed the child's hands.”
