Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Cleaning supplies and other sanitizers were located in several classrooms and a bathroom. The Director removed and threw out all of the supplies located.”
“A child in care was bitten by another child in care. This was observed by a caregiver, who did not intervene in a timely manner.”
“A child was observed walking around the classroom with a training cup. It was corrected during inspection when the caregiver had removed it from the child.”
“Two classrooms didn't have their emergency evacuation posted in the classroom. This was corrected at inspection and they were posted in prominent areas.”
“A 18 month-24 month classroom has a trash can with soiled diapers accessible to children.”
“Two infant classrooms and a two's classroom had diaper creams not labeled with the individual child's name.”
“A two's classroom had an outlet exposed to the children in care without childproof covers. This was corrected at inspection by the director.”
“Two classrooms did not use proper hand washing such as soap and running water prior to the children eating lunch. The caregiver corrected this as she guided the children to wash their hands.”
“The operation did not report the number of employees who left the operation in 2023 to CCR.”
“During the inspection a caregiver was present and caring for children without an active background check. This was corrected during the inspection when the operation submitted the background check and the caregiver was sent home.”
“I observed that the operation had not documented the fire drill for November of 2022. The operation corrected this at the inspection.”
