Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“This standard was evaluated and found to be out of compliance when a child was left on the playground for 30 seconds.”
“This standard was evaluated and found to be out of compliance. The operation staff did not notify the child's parents immediately at time of incident, nor at pick up time (2:00 PM), that the child had left the classroom unsupervised and unnoticed, placing the child at risk. The parents were notified after 4:00 pm.”
“This standard was evaluated and found to be out of compliance when a child left the classroom unnoticed and walked into another classroom. The caregivers in the child's classroom left all the children unsupervised while they searched for the child who left the room.”
“This standard was evaluated and found to be out of compliance when the staff inappropriately questioned a child in the classroom, in front of their peers.”
“The operation did not report the suspected child abuse timely, within 48 hours as specified in TFC 261.101.”
“This standard was evaluated and found to be out of compliance. A caregiver failed to count and verify how many children were present before going outside and failed to look around the room to ensure no one was left behind.”
“This standard was evaluated and found to be out of compliance. A caregiver left a child in the classroom alone for over four minutes.”
