Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“At the time of the inspection the fence located at the back of the playground had gaps due to missing pieces of the fence panel pieces.”
“It was found through the course of investigation that a child was unaccounted for and left outside for between 5-10 minutes.”
“A caregiver shamed children for accidents. A caregiver would crumble student work in front of them and throw it in the trash when done incorrectly.”
“A caregiver was not adequately supervised to ensure that caregivers fulfilled their responsibilities.”
“A caregiver yelled at children. A caregiver told other children to hit a child.”
“At the time of the investigation walkthrough three classes were not sure of the number of children they had in care.”
