Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A household member was present at the operation without an active, eligbile background check.”
“One out of four children's records evaluated did not have an updated immunization record.”
“Children's products certification form was not available for review.”
“Actvity plan did not include the dates and specific daily activities.”
“Lock down drills have not been conducted.”
“Four children's files were evaluated. One file was missing the health statement.”
“Operational policies were pending information on the following topics: Promotion of indoor and outdoor physical activity; Safe sleep policy for infants from birth through 12 months old; Instructions on how a parent may access the Texas Abuse and Neglect Hotline, and access the HHSC website; and the emergency preparedness plan.”
“Crib used by an infant was observed two have two standard mattresses and one thin mattress. Note: One standard mattress and the thin mattress were removed from crib during inspection.”
