Source: Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingRecords held from Sep 27, 2021 onward. Earlier visits may exist in the agency’s own files.
Delaware publishes only visits where a regulation was cited, plus complaint investigations. Visits that found no violations do not appear in the state's data, so a gap between dates here does not mean the program went uninspected. Delaware does not publish a severity weight for its citations.

Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Delaware Office of Child Care LicensingNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.

One staff needs annual review of child abuse/neglect, orientation, OCCL's Health and Safety Training, employee declaration and drug/alcohol statement, adult abuse registry check, and release of employment history. “On February 11, 2026, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding health exclusions, not providing truthful information, and caring for children in unapproved space. An investigation was conducted on February 18, 2026. This complaint is substantiated for caring for children in an unapproved space, because according to Administrator #1, usually two children are brought up to the front of the center near the offices for the last 10 minutes of every day to await parent pickup. There is no evidence to substantiate the allegation the center did not provide truthful information on the daily logs. According to Staff #1, who was the staff person in the infant room on February 9, 2026, Child #1 arrived with a stuffy nose, was coughing and sneezing, but Parent #1 did not write this on the form at drop off, therefore, Staff #1 wrote it. LS #1 also confirmed it was written on the attendance record under the health check section. There is no evidence to substantiate the allegation the center did not follow their health exclusion policies, because according to Staff #1, Child #1 s vomit on February 9, 2026, was not related to illness but rather their diagnosed reflux. Staff #1 stated Child #1 frequently spits up large quantities of their bottles. According to messages reviewed between Parent #1 and Staff #1, Parent #1 did not administer the proper dosage of medication to Child #1 the weekend before the incident, causing increased spit up.”
“Ensure staff files are complete. Two staff needs a signed professional development plan. One staff needs an adult health appraisal. One staff needs a signed employee declaration. One staff needs an adult health appraisal with TB screening.”
“Ensure Parent's Right to Know log is reviewed with and signed by each newly enrolled family or any families touring the facility. Review and obtain necessary signatures.”
“Ensure child files are completed. One child needs emergency card information, including emergency transportation permission.”
“Ensure walls and surfaces are in good repair. Repair walls where the paint is peeling in the green and blue rooms. Repair baseboard in the blue room bathroom.”
“Ensure staff utilize a non-porous surface for diaper changing. The diaper mat in the green room was ripped and a cloth cover was being used in the infant room. This was corrected at the visit when the mat in the green room was replaced and the cloth cover in the infant room was removed. Ensure staff and children's hands are washed after each diaper change. This Specialist observed a staff person change three children's diapers without washing his/her own hands or the child's hands. This was corrected at the visit when it was addressed with the staff person and they all washed hands.”
“Ensure staff files are complete. One staff needs an Adult Health Appraisal with TB screening.”
“Ensure any cleaning supplies or hazardous materials are stored out of children's reach. Ensure air fresheners are not used in child care spaces. Shaving cream and disinfectant wipes were observed being accessible in the Blue Room. Air fresheners and cleaning supplies were accessible in the bathrooms in the school-age building.”
“Wash hands after each diaper change, as required. This was corrected at the visit when the staff person in the one-year-old classroom washed her hands.”
“Ensure all lesson plans contain language/literacy activities. Add language/literacy activities to the two-year-old lesson plan.”
“Ensure staff file are completed. Orientation for Staff #1.”
“Ensure children files are completed. Blood Lead screening results for Child #3, 5, and 12.”
