Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The mats were arranged to where there was no space between to walk without stepping on other mats. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection when mats were rearranged and there was enough space between the mats for children and caregivers to not step on top of the mats.”
“A slide (play equipment) did not have the required six feet all around of use zone. This was corrected during inspection when director removed slide from playground area.”
“Four out of seven children records do not have current immunization records.”
“Primary caregiver did not have annual trainings for the time frame of 4/8/2022- 4/8/2023 available at the center for review.”
“Cleaning supplies were under the unlocked sink cabinets the cleaning supplies were accessible to the children. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection when caregiver removed the cleaning supplies from under the sink and placing them on a shelf inaccessible to the children.”
“An electrical outlet in the bathroom was seen with out an outlet cover. The electrical outlet was accessible to children under 5 years old when washing their hands. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection when caregiver placed an outlet cover in the electrical outlet.”
