Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There was information provided that there were a few trash cans, that had garbage in them, that did not have lids on top.”
“Two of the ten children's files reviewed were lacking the required immunizations.”
“Out of 10 child files reviewed one was missing up to date vaccine records according to their age and one was missing a vaccine record.”
“Three classrooms did not have the evacuation plan posted. This was corrected at inspection when the evacuation plan was posted in each room.”
“It was found while conducting the inspection that the opeartion had several files that needed updated immunization records.”
“It was found while looking at the fire inspection that the operation had not passed the fire inspection conducted on 7/2/21.”
“It was found while conducting a walk through that the operation had 16 children in a classroom with 1 caregiver. The specified age group of that classroom was 3 years old. This specified age group allows for 15 children with one caregiver. This was corrected at the inspection when a child was moved to another classroom.”
